The floodwaters of hurricanes Katrina and Rita rendered
every home in St. Bernard's Parish uninhabitable. 

For the past two years, I have spent a week helping rebuild this small slice of our Gulf Coast.  In 2007 I volunteered with a group called the
St. Bernard Project. 
This organization can rebuild a home for $10,000.

  When I heard that such a relatively small sum could do so much, I made it my goal to raise the funds to rebuild one home. 
If the St. Bernard Project can rebuild the parish home by home,
then we can rebuild a home dollar by dollar.
